Good afternoon LIT Parents
Below is your Action Kids Summer Camp Welcome Packet with lots of information about our program and the many changes to procedures and protocols that have been necessary to meet the NH State guidelines for licensed day camps.
This past year has been incredibly challenging for our campers, their families, our staff and our communities. If there is one thing that has been reinforced over the past months, it’s that what matters most are family and community. We believe in the power of camp and the sense of community and belonging it provides our campers. This has become more apparent to us than ever amidst the upheaval, disappointment and grief our children have faced over the past year.
Despite these lofty goals, we know that opening camp brings risks and uncertainty that cannot be completely eliminated even with the best intentions, preparations, program modifications and cleaning protocols. We want you to know that we are dedicated to making your child’s time here at Action Kids Summer Camp as safe as possible. Highlighted in the information are many of the procedures and protocols we are following this summer which are the same ones we instituted last summer. For the summer 2020 season, we operated for the full summer with zero transmission within camp. We will continue to monitor, update and enhance all areas of camp as needed, keeping the safety of our campers and our staff as our number one priority. Please read through this information carefully and reach out to us if you would like clarification, more information or have questions. We want you and your camper to feel as prepared and comfortable as possible before their first day of camp. We truly believe these are the most important seasons of summer camp we have ever run
Please remember that we need copies of your child’s medical on file before your child’s first day of camp. Click here for a blank copy
Please find attached several camp forms that need to be filled out and returned to us. Below you will find links to the forms page, where you can submit the forms electronically. You will need to return the following forms: “Tell Us About Your Camper”, “A letter to my Counselor” the “Camper Swag” order and the Covid Policies “Acknowledgement Form”. The ‘Pizza Form” only needs to be returned if you will be ordering lunch on Pizza Friday.

Camper Health Screening Questions:

If they are showing any unexplained symptoms of Covid-19, they will not be allowed to attend camp. Details regarding our illness policy and camper health screening can be found in our parent handbook (click here for link)
